Default Bar attached to a casino

Went to deuces wild in valley forge tonight. Left my gun at home because I know you can not carry in a casino. However, am I allowed to carry in a bar connected to a casino? Is that considered a different entity in the states eyes?

Did you see any signs announcing the prohibition of carrying?

Bars and casinos themselves aren't prohibited in PA, but if a sign is in place - trespassing becomes an issue.

Seems that you are right. I just checked again and it says "prohibited if posted". Didn't see any signs

That doesn't mean they don't have a rule against it. Best bet is to check their website(s) and if in doubt call and talk to a manager or general manager...

    Why bother?

Personally, I'm inclined to assume that any business that is determined to have an anti-self-defense policy should also care enough to clearly and conspicuously post said policy on their public entrances.

    This.

While you're on the phone, you might as well call the gas station where you plan to purchase fuel to get you there, the bank whose ATM you plan to use to get cash for the night, the convenience store where you plan to quench your thirst on the trip, and the fast food joint where you may have to hit the head to void your bladder of said beverage.

I don't have time to poll the world for their permission to engage in perfectly legal activities. If they feel strongly enough let them invest in reasonably visible signage to tell me they don't want my patronage.

ASSUME makes an ASS out of you and Me.

Maybe they did and you or the OP missed it. I've seen them all the way at the bottom of a window. Should it have been higher up maybe. But it's their choice where they place them. I've also seen them so they blend in very well as well as other sticker prohibiting other things. Should they have been RED maybe.

Doesn't hurt to call and ask. Actually makes you a more informed person. I wouldn't want to talk in somewhere unkowingly and get kicked out. While it might be perfectly legal to carry it may not be in certain establishments and that is their right to have those policies. And like a good citizen you should abide by them.

Yeah maybe you should call those places up. Do yourself the favor so your not asked to leave or escorted out by police. Would really hurt to have your gun run by the police and you know they would do it too.

You don't have time? Maybe you should make time because while in PA it might be perfectly legal to carry it may not be in certain establishments. You want to set a good image for gun owners. Then maybe you should look into policies of establishments you care to go to. That way you don't look like a fuck wad when you get escorted out by management or the police.

Just because an establishment doesn't have it posted on their doors or on their websites doesn't mean they don't have a policy and to be informed is key here. So what's the next best option? Call them and ask. Takes a few minutes of your time.

You all think your so entitled to everything. WELL YOUR NOT.

Been carrying 25 years, hasn't happened yet. It's not a sense of entitlement, it's realism.

See you have the "it can't or wont happen to me" attitude going on. Well hate to burst that bubble but it can happen to you.
