Default Re: Gunsmith for a Springfield

Target Master does not have a "gunsmith" in the classic sense of the craft. This is not a hit on TM, but gunsmiths that have been formally trained either by a reputable hands on school like the Pa. School of Gunsmithing, or by a multi year apprenticeship are a rare find. Target Master and other gun stores jump through hoops to retain such a type of smith to perform contract work. The very idea that their "gunsmith" won't or can't replace a spring on a common gun like the XD is laughable. This is hardly fabricating a part or making a stock from a wood block.
