    Smile undecided need advice

I am thinking of getting the Ruger 9mm LCR.
I now see reports of jump crimp coming in.
Wonder if I should just look into getting a 38?

Check out the Sig Sauer P938. Great gun and awesome trigger. Blows away the Ruger IMO.

Didn't do too much research on the Ruger but why a 9mm revolver?

S&W revolvers in .38 have been around for 100 years. Time tested match for me.

I have one, I shot it once and don't like it.
The moon clips suck, they bend very easily and loosen up to where they don't hold the rounds. They can be bent back to where they work again but they suck.
I also had problems with ejecting the spent shells, I had to bang the ejector on the range bench to eject, no way I could do it with my hand. Now I only used Freedom Munitions ammo (which I've NEVER had a problem with in any other pistol) so the reman ammo could be the cause not the gun, but if it doesn't run with ANY ammo I'm not happy with it.
Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass.

I have a SP101 in 9mm. The supplied clips are junk. Got a hold of a bunch of Ranch Products moon clips. They are thicker than the factory and load from the outside. The 101 has shot all kinds of ammo, junk, good stuff, and all in between, and still runs after many years...
You don't have enough guns untill you don't know how many you have.

Quoted for truth. Sig 938 in 9mm or his similar cousin the Sig 238 in .380. You'll wonder how you could have possibly considered anything else
I'm faster than Doc Holliday (with Novocaine of course)

I have a s&w bodyguard 380 (no laser). I carry it in my front pocket in an uncle mike's pocket holster. When I draw it out the holster stays in the pocket. The gun shoots straight and doesn't have much recoil, plus it has a usable safety. I also have a North American Arms 22 mag I carry when I go on a short trip or just run to the local store. The NAA's are small but you can carry them anywhere. Good luck in your choices

Another vote for the P238/P938, whichever caliber you want. Both are great shooters. More expensive, yes, but you do get what you pay for. The P238 works great in jeans pockets. You do carry cocked and locked though if that is a problem. I don't always. I think sometimes that someone just hearing the slide get racked is a good deterrent unless you feel that the couple of seconds it takes are critical. Your choice, what works best for you.

Are we talking about revolvers or semi's? The OP mentioned a 9mm revolver (which I don't get)........

If your going 9mm it should be an autoloader. For a revolver it should be a S&W .38. Nothing else seems right.
