    Default Price of a gun

Hey everyone, My father gave me a Beretta 84BB circa 93'. Sweet little gun great condition. Blued with wood grips. I am not looking to sell it, just curious if anyone has the guide to tell me what it's worth for my own insurance records. I am one of those weird guys who likes to know these things.

How many fingers am I holding up?

Check Gunbroker or Armslist. You see them at gun shows, sporadically, in the $350 range, for a blued one.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

What kind of condition is it in? There is a whole bunch of shitty police trade ins that were imported that aren't going for any more than about $300. Another batch was cerecoated and those were pulling about the same. For a super nice pre ban, Italian made, you should be looking at closer to $500+, although there isn't much out there to reference.

I recently picked up one made in the late 80's that looked like the day it came out of the factory, for about $400 with my discount. There are really nice guns, although they are more of a collectors piece to me than a shooter. I put insurance on it up to about $700. It is a really nice piece if it is in good condition.

A buddy of mine made off with $300 after trading an older Italian made one in at the LGS. He might've gotten more in a private sale, considering he found the right buyer.
