OWB J-Frame Holster
I have a S&W air weight that I would like to get an OWB holster for, just to change up my carry options. Looking for something that conceals well and holds tight to the body and doesn't cost an arm and a leg and my firstborn. ( I know good holsters aren't cheap...I am not out for top of the line here though) additionally, it needs to be made in left hand. I have a Don Hume JIT slide for my M&P 9c and like it, so I am leaning that way. I also see they have a DAH for my j frame. Anyone have any experience with either one of these for the j frame? Any other recommendations?

Re: OWB J-Frame Holster
Check out RKBA Holsters. I got one of their owb kydex holsters for my 38 snubbie. Not expensive, pretty quick turnaround and does what I need it to do. They have leather I believe as well. I also have galco holster that's been excellent. I'm assuming they have left handed models.

Re: OWB J-Frame Holster
If you like leather, look at Simply Rugged. That's what I use for OWB for all my guns.

I have a new Kramer horsehide belt scabbard coming for Christmas for my S&W Model 38 snubby!
Just for those days that I'm feeling lazy, and don't want to be carrying a gun.Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Re: OWB J-Frame Holster
Take a look at the de Santis Mini Scabbard, model 019. Rides high, tension adjustment screw, no thumb break. It's the only holster I use for my 642.

Galco leather...the best!
or
Mitch Rosen Premier.
-(comes with QD belt snaps! Custom order, but same price as OTR. Nice stuff!)
I'm a lefty, and have a Galco for my SP-101, and a Mitch Rosen for a SIG P-245. Both OTB, and damned fine quality.

Gonzo, what position do you carry that at? How tight does it hold to the body?
Louie, which model do you use?
