The Ridgway Rifle Club Gun Show is held the first weekend of the world-famous Ridgway Chainsaw Carving Festival, which brings in professional wood carvers from all over the world. Two attractions the same weekend.

Never been to the gun show, but the chainsaw carver's rendezvous is worth seeing at least once in your life if you live in PA. I go every year.

The gun show and the chainsaw carving rendezvous the same weekend are two GREAT reasons to make the trip to Ridgway -- two neat events in one.

The Ridgway Rifle Club Gun Show is 50 tables, like a firehall show, but last year they had a broad variety of gun dealers / vendors, offering guns, ammo, reloading supplies, parts, etc. I was surprised at the variety of merchandise, and the number of attendees. The pulled pork sammich was to die for, and I understand they are offering it again this year.

Which Ridgway? The one on 120? Man, that’s way out there. I love riding 120 between Lock Haven and St. Marys. Just thinking about it in this weather gives me the shivers.
