J-frame grips
I am looking for something to take the bite out of my j-frame. I have been a fan of hogue, so I was looking at either their rubber or nylon full sized grips. Any other suggestions it Comments on these two grips? What is the difference anyhow?

I like the J Synthetic Full Size Grip with S&W Logo.

Re: J-frame grips
VZ makes great grips. For a few bucks less you can go with Hogue or Pachmyer. I have the Pachmyer and like them.

Ergo Delta's. Look weird, but plenty to grab onto and absorb recoil. Slim enough that they don't hinder carry and they point naturally. Replaced Hogue's on my 638.

Re: J-frame grips
I use Pachmayr Compacts on all my J frames. They cover the back strap and really help with taming recoil.
