    Default Phila class action payout

A friend just called to tell me he got a check from Phila for settlement of the class action suit. (Phila made names and addresses of appellants for LTCF public info) He got $523. I suggested he make a copy of the check and the receipt for his new gun and send it to Mayor Nutter. Any other suggestions?

He should also CC copies of that to all the Anti-gun groups in PA.

Interesting how the total number of member doesn't add up.

If you haven't been receiving notices then I suspect you are not part of the class action.

You can find most of the info here:

    http://phillyltcfclassaction.com/

Pay particular attention to section 'V'.

You could also contact one of the Class Counsels (section XIV).

If he does this, make sure he includes a thank you note. "Thank you for providing me the funds to purchase this wonderful firearm. It has been on my wish list for quite some time." Without any context, receiving anything gun related may be taken as a threat to a political figure. I would hate to see NutterButter's SS kick in his door.

A couple of safer options would be -
Copy of check and copy of receipt for:

    • Membership or donation to some pro-2A organization (NRA, 2nd Amendment Foundation, etc.)
    • Donation to the Republican running against NutterButter
    • Utah CCW class
    • Membership at a local gun club

Or, since it's money from the tax payers, maybe just give it back as a donation to a fire company, soup kitchen, etc. Easy come, easy go.

(I'm the kind of guy that would like to rub NutterButter's nose in it, so I won't judge him if he wants to keep the $$ for himself)
