Re: question on pistol registration please help !!!!!
The Record of Sale is a Registration list. If a Police Officer disarms you and runs the numbers he will find out from the Record of Sale registration list if the gun is registered to you or not. If it is not registered to you they may then confiscate the weapon and you will spend dollars getting it back. Record of Sale is an illegal registration of firearms and we all know it. A couple of Supreme Court Justices that Fast Eddie Rendell had compromising pictures of intentionally misinterpreted the law just as Chief Justice Roberts who wanted to avoid being exposed as a lawbreaker by Obama changed his vote to render Obamaocare Constitutional.
We no longer live in a nation of laws.Corruption is the default behavior of government officials. JPC

I would just have your grandfather write a letter showing it as a gift to you.
If you want to go farther then take him to an ffl and do the transfer. The last time I did a transfer there was nothing that said I had to prove it was mine. I believe there was a question on the transfer that verifies ownership. He could just answer truthfully that it is his.
