    I'm in your neighborhood & i belong to York Adams Fish & Game in Abbottstown. about 20 mins from Stoverstown. Good club.

    Are they any ranges that are so to say free? Not needing a membership I always go to the range in dillsburg but half the time its packed looking for a range for rifle and pistol

    Personally, I have never found a "free" shooting range. Someone has to pay for the range - that is why they all require some form of membership. The closest "free" shooting ranges (that I know of) runs $30 per year and sponsored by the state of Pennsylvania. Take a look at Public Shooting Ranges...
