That's right. As long as the whole package is over 26" long, and the barrel is over 18" long, you aren't making an NFA item. What the stock actually looks like doesn't matter.
[There's a somewhat complicated subset of "shotgun like items" (they fall into the Other Firearms category on the 4473 form) which can have under 18" barrels and still be not NFA weapons because they're still over 26" long. BUT that wouldn't apply to your firearm because that started life as a full-stocked shotgun. ]--Sam

Thanks all. Yes that confirms ill stay legal. Barrel is 18.5 and oal is 27.5. Ill post pics soon
