Question about 199Trust
Bought a 199Trust from Gear Hog on Black Friday.
I have the Trust signed and Notarized. Went to pick up my Form 4 paperwork today and was told I had to fund the trust and needed to attach a page to the trust to do so.
Can anyone from PA with a 199 Trust and an approved Form 4 give me a straight answer.....?
Thanks

Re: Question about 199Trust
I'm curious, so your Form 4 was approved and you picked it your NFA item at the FFL, who told you that you had to fund your trust?

Re: Question about 199Trust
Ahh, I see. The ATF is notorious for making up rules when it comes to Form 4's and I have heard that trusts have to be funded with an attached page outlining all items in the trust included your initial funding. We don't tell customers to do that and Form 4's are coming back approved without being funded, but it's not bad advice either.

Re: Question about 199Trust
I am putting a One Dollar bill in the assignments page with the serial number listed.
From everything I have read and all the questions I've ask, this should be right.
I just wanted to double check... if anyone was doing it different.

Re: Question about 199Trust
No, It is just listed one the assignment page as property of the trust.
Just like if you put a rifle in the trust to do a Form 1 SBR.
