Re: CCW permit revoked in Philadelphia
Did he get the certified letter detailing the revocation as required by statute??
The statute also provides for an appeal route
18 Pa CS 6109(i) Revocation.--A license to carry firearms may be revoked by the issuing authority for good cause. A license to carry firearms shall be revoked by the issuing authority for any reason stated in subsection (e)(1) which occurs during the term of the permit. Notice of revocation shall be in writing and shall state the specific reason for revocation. Notice shall be sent by certified mail to the individual whose license is revoked, and, at that time, notice shall also be provided to the Pennsylvania State Police by electronic means, including e-mail or facsimile transmission, that the license is no longer valid. An individual whose license is revoked shall surrender the license to the issuing authority within five days of receipt of the notice. An individual whose license is revoked may appeal to the court of common pleas for the judicial district in which the individual resides. An individual who violates this section commits a summary offense.IANAL

He should contact an attorney familiar with Philadelphia, and PA gun laws. There are good ones on this board.

Re: CCW permit revoked in Philadelphia
I'm sure there's a news article about a Philly cop gun being lost or stolen somewhere. I would print it out and take that with me.

Re: CCW permit revoked in Philadelphia
Yep.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm on a cell phone and can't use my google foo, but didn't an attorney from this forum just produce a memorandum of understanding as part of a settlement with PPD, one that included items like revocation w/r/t police reports? I think his name was .... Goldberg?Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

Re: CCW permit revoked in Philadelphia
The settlement was through the Prince Law Firm.
We still do not know why the revocation has taken place so its kind of hard to give anything specific. The supposed actions shown in the OP is not covered in the settlement agreement.IANAL
