Glock 22 vs M&P 40
Alright everyone, I am going to be getting a new handgun. I want something reliable. I have done my research, a lot! I am sold on either the Glock 22 Gen 4 or M&P 40. I've had both guns in my hand and they feel great. I only got to shoot the Glock. So here we go... I am looking for people who own either gun and hopefully some who have both. Sell me on what you think is the better choice.

Re: Glock 22 vs M&P 40
As far as reliability is concerned, it's a wash. They are equal in that regard. Which one feels better in your hand? If possible, try to shoot both in the same outing. Whichever feels best and shoots best for you is your huckleberry. You can't go wrong with either. I will say that the Glock has a superior factory trigger, but that's easily remedied with an apex trigger.
There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Glock, especially the Gen 4.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

If you were closer I'd say let's meet up you can shoot my m&p. I preferred the feel of the m&p and I found a deal on one. 350 bucks! Couldn't pass it up.

Its a wash. Pick the one you get a better deal on. S&W was running a "2 free mags with purchase of new firearm". I think it may have expired.

Re: Glock 22 vs M&P 40
I have an M&P 40C. It's a great gun. I just had the Apex trigger kit installed on it and like it a whole lot better. Easier to control with a smooth pull after the kit.
