I've set-up as a vendor at the past two shows in this venue. It's been a great local show for me and with the many other dealers I've talked to that also attended.

As a dealer, when even I can find things to buy at great prices from the other vendors, it's a good show.


Yes, the larger "Harrisburg, PA" gunshow at the "Farm Show Complex" this same weekend is going to steal some of the past attending vendors away, it will still have a good assortment of dealers, etc... there selling their wares.


I will be setting-up at this show selling mainly rifle and pistol magazines, along with a large ammo vendor and another friend thats sells gun manuals, slings and bayonets.

I've been to a Jaeger show before, at the Ice Box. I think once was enough.

Yes, I'll be the first one to admit that "Jaeger Arms" gunshows aren't perfect.

More local advertising would be a great help. More street signs and ads in the surrounding papers. A billboard out on I-81 and/or I-84 could help draw more general public to the venue as well.

You've got to get the word out that there's a gunshow in town to get the people in. If you don't get any customers in, we (vendors) can't make any sales.

The success of any show really depends on a good relationship between the "vendors" and the "buying public". If the vendors don't have sales, they won't come back, and if the customers can't find deals and/or merchandise they want, they don't attend the future shows.

I'll admitt that I'm "plugging" this show - I'm going to be a vendor there.

I want "you" to come. So listing this event and responding to your statement's about it, matters to me. " I'm self-adverstising " !! LOL

Last time i went to this show, it seemed like 80% of the dealers were front license platers, selling mostly garbage. A few locals shops had booths, but this definitely is not what it could be. I think the promoter needs advertise a little better and encourage more PA dealers to show up. I will probably go again this year but I don't expect to be blown away.

Yeah...no thanks. Last time I went to a Jaeger show, some guy was trying to sell Hi Points for $275, next to some moldy jerky. Pass.

Never again. That's what i said after the first show there. A friend convinced me the show had improved. He was wrong.
IMHO Total waste of time and money.
