45/70, the GC planting the corn there? I use to see corn and milo planted in SGL127 but they stopped the corn. Its been awhile since I've been in there, so maybe its changed back.

Would the colder weather we are currently experiencing generally be better or worse for deer hunting?

I am trying to decide if I should take a vacation day tomorrow.

It is a crap shoot when it comes to weather and deer. Over the years I have tried to set some kind of rules for that and it rarely works out. I have gone out on days that were allegedly top weather days for deer and seen nothing. I have gone on days that supposedly were too windy and seen deer. The only conclusion I came to is the MORE days you are in the woods, the more deer you see.

    Yup that's about it.
I gave up trying to figure deer out a long time ago.

I once watched a doe walk up a creek that was half iced over along the sides. She walked like she did not have a care in the world or how cold it was.
