Anyone make a SS 1911 9mm Commander?
Looking for a Stainless Steel 1911 Commander chambered in 9mm but can't seem to find one anywhere on the top manufactures websites. Not looking to spend over $750 ideally, but might budge a little. Anyone ever seen one out there for sale or on a website they can point me to?

Only one immediately comes to mind at that price point, and that's Para. I know they are some other companies that make stainless commanders for much more money and companies that make government models for around your price range.
Check on American Classic, Iver Johnson, RIA, Para. Might be able to get a Colt on sale this weekend, too. Pretty sure I saw Colt officer and commander models for sub $700, come to think of it. Funny when you start typing a response you remember other things. I think I also saw a Remington commander for around $700. If I come across any direct links I'll post them here.
Edit:
Whoops. Didn't notice the 9mm. Let me check and get back to you. My apologies.

Re: Anyone make a SS 1911 9mm Commander?
Looks like this could be a tall order for that price range. There's plenty of guns that are close, but no cigar. Either 3" or 5" barrel, or duo-tone, or simply way above that price range.
Anyone else have suggestions for the OP?

Closest I could get you is a 9mm Colt Defender, full size Taurus or full size Sig. The Taurus is under your limit, the sig is over it. To get exactly what you want, I don't think your price range is realistic.
There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Not Stainless but, in you're price range:

http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...II+VZ+9+4.25+9
Kimber Stainless Pro-carry II would be perfect if you can find it in stock. It will probably be @ $150-200 over budget.

If you want to say screw the budget I want something cool here ya go :
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...B1+9mm+3.96%22
The first two I listed could leave some room for a little cerakote work to give them a stainless look. Trying to think outside the box a little to stick with budget.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
