Looking for 1911 and AR15 Gunsmith
I cannot seem to get a hold of Tony Molinaro of Dormont and I fear he is again to ill to work. I am looking for a gunsmith(s) who would do excellent work on 1911's and AR15's. I am not looking for someone who necessarily builds custom 1911's, but rather someone who can properly install match barrels, trigger job, etc. For AR15, someone who can change barrels and hand guards.
I am looking for someone who may be in a 30 mile radius from Pittsburgh. I just had a bad experience with someone at Anthony Arms and it cost too much to ship these guns.

Several people on the board have had good luck for .45's with Gans just south of Uniontown. I've never used them but others should be chiming in later. Gans1911

Glad to help. I personally can't speak of his work but I do know he builds ARs, and could probably show you some of his work.

GANS in Farmington, PA for 1911 work. He only works on 1911's and sometimes S&W revolvers. He will work with you on your needs. Very good and fast turnaround.
