No, their belt is not necessary. I have a Super Tuck and one of their MiniTucks and I wear a Wilderness Tactical Instructor belt most of the time I carry. As long as the belt is the same size as the clips, you're fine.

I wouldn't wear the holster without the firearm in it very much as any kydex holster is more likely to crack that way than if the firearm is secured in the holster, but Mark is a stand up guy and if the kydex breaks, I would be shocked if he wouldn't replace it for you.

If you don't like the holster, I'm pretty sure he still has the try it free and if you don't like it, he offers a refund. He's fast at pushing them out the door, they're inexpensive, and offers almost a trial. What more can you ask for?

Check this thread out if you're looking for a sale price.

Yeah, I guess it is. Still using it. There are other companies using similar designs though - there's the Minutaur holsters which are modular and more versatile, and the Tucker Answer, and possibly a few others are similar. The Minotaur uses thicker Kydex, and the Spartan is probably what I would buy, if I was going to buy a holster.

I've been using the holster with a 1.5" DeSantis belt for. . . 5 years, or however long I've been using the Crossbreed holsters.

Hey I can't make everybody happy, I know that.

But I wont roll over and bite my tongue just cuz I might offend someone.

Not on a matter of principle, anyway.

Sorry dude, but you seem to be able to sling but not catch it.

But you cant handle the reverse, apparently.

I can see why you would feel that way after the piling on you got from several members there for your behavior.

However, I think I made my point and only wanted folks to see both sides of the issue, tha'ts fair isn't it?
If you gonna run around the interwebz saying I'm a douche and all :-)

I'll not bring it up here again
