Thumbs up Legally-armed citizen stops robbery in progress

Now HERE'S one that the bigtime liberal media outlets won't publicize:

A crime is prevented by a licensed, law-abiding citizen:

    http://www.local10.com/news/13585335/detail.html#

Moral of the story: Don't underestimate a Marine.

Can't get over this follow-up story:

    http://www.salem-news.com/articles/j...ing_7-2-08.php

Their poor sons rob a store at gun point, then are outraged that Lovell, the guy defunding himself, wasn't charged.

They charged the one that survived with the murder of his dead partner in crime.

This kind of stuff burns me up

Ignorant and stupid is how I will describe these people.

They should be feeling embarrassed and ashamed and sorry for what there sons did

Great reads...The follow up story is well written...
Have to say that it bothers the shit out of me when people ask how the man could "gun them down and not be charged".... What I want to know is why the hell were they forcing him into the bathroom...were they gonna beat him...Or shoot him...Or leave him tied up on the floor...
I think it is interesting that he did not try and intervene in the robbery but waited until the incident directly involved his personal safety...Good job on keeping his cool...I know some may disagree with me but I feel that someone else's money is not worth getting into it....Now someone else's safety or my safety is well worth it...

Their Democrat-endorsed parenting abilities were never called into question now. Indeed, up until now, they've been approved. Now that they see what scum they've raised, of course they're outraged and upset, and like all good liberals who've leeched off of the system, they turn their anger on "the others" who's fault it surely must be, rather than on themselves, where it belongs.

yeah...wtf man...can't a guy defend himself.....why didn't anyone teach them that robbing someone is against the law?? I could never figure out why someone would value anothers life over what...maybe $100? that's just ridiculous.....

Are these families allowed to sue the person who defending himself? cause you know if they can, you damn bet they will.

No, FL law prohibits such lawsuits in justified shootings. That happened last year and the news article is still floating around the web.
