Default question about vintage ammo boxes

OK I am looking for some information on some old ammo boxes I have, with one that I cannot find any where
its an old shotgun shell box, made by Robinhood Powder Company, the box is in so so shape, has just 3sides and a top, and the bottom box I am not sure is correct.
can anyone tell me anything about this company, and ??
    thanks

I tried several times using this site, and it keeps giving me an error that says, ERROR while processing?? so cannot get one on here using the site
so had to put into photobucket
    but here are two pic's
I am NOT sure if the bottom of the box is correct to the top either?? the bottom of the box has a number stamped in red ink on it that reads "F17W25708"
if that means anything to anyone??

I haven't found anything more to help you, but this was interesting in terms of preservation:

    Preservation:

Have a curator's attitude. To preserve shape, cut pieces of styrofoam to exactly fill space not occupied by original shells. Wrap boxes in Saran wrap. Heat with a hair dryer to shrink tight. Store in drawers or no more than two high on shelves. Above all, keep out of sun or other bright light which will rapidly fade the colors and decrease the value.

thus making me wonder about how rare they really are, and any real value info?
I have gathered that in great shape, a box is worth in the 1500-2 k range, but what does that mean for this one??
I gather its what ever someone wants to pay? but is there any way to know what's lets say fair value??
as rare is not always a way to set price I guess, but???
any info again would be apprciated
