End of the SB15 brace?

Just saw this on the interwebs and am more nervous than surprised... The original March 2014 letter was almost too good to be true (from the ATF), now it looks as though they may be trying to backpedal their previous determination. Apparently this letter only applies to the sample shotgun they received, but it could be opening the door for something far more wicked.

anyone with a brain and the internet can go to the ATF site and read all about NFA when it comes to shotguns.

If this where even remotely true I'm sure Sig would have a press release up. Especially as they sell pistols that include the brace.

Well you guys have certainly put my mind at ease a little. You're right I would (should?) expect Sig to address something like this immediately if they thought it would affect the AR platform. It just seemed weird to me (having just printed the March 2014 letter this morning) that they specifically said originally, how a shooter USES the brace does not change its intended function, but on this letter it says the exact opposite.. Thats really what worried me and not the "some jackass on an internet forum said" part... Honestly I didn't even notice that part the first time around

no matter what it would still be a short barreled shotgun or an AOW pending what model , They dont play with shotguns. I tried.
