Nice looking revolver. What is the barrel length, 4" ?

Re: Ruger GP100 Match Champion
What is the difference between the GP 100 in 357 mag and the SP 101 in 357 mag?

Oh I love that. How is the double action pull? If you don't mind me asking what did it set you back?
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

Re: Ruger GP100 Match Champion
Double action pull is sweet, smooth with a crisp break, about 7-8lbs all the way through. Single action is also nice with about a 4lb pull. Its way smother than a regular gp100 but it's also about 100-150 more than a regular gp100. I picked it up for 705 otd. More than I wanted to spend but I just fell in love with the gun.

Nice! $700 otd doesn't sound bad for a gun like that.

Re: Ruger GP100 Match Champion
I was fondling one of these at my LGS on Saturday. I really liked the trigger. It's ALMOST as nice as the one in the GP-100 my dad and I have been shooting for over 25 years. It took many years and several thousands of rounds to get like that. 'Bout time Ruger started offering a decent factory trigger on the GP.
Not sure how I feel about the wooden grip. It's smaller than the rubber Hogue grip that I'm used to. The gun feels barrel heavy. I'll be curious to hear what the OP thinks of how the gun shoots with the less substantive grip.

I could only see part of the gun. My head won't turn completely sideways.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
