Already have the day planned out. Lots of celebrating freedom with my civil rights hanging out.

Hooray, an excuse to OC my brand new Taurus (Thanks Bladerunner!) around Philly for the festivities.

I'm looking forward to the day-after reports. Hopefully with all the front-page news and media coverage going around recently, the eyes of the sheep will be a bit more open.

Be prepared to say to any officer:

"Really? You're going to ask these questions on the celebration of our most shining day of liberty? Is that America dead?"

    Make 'em feel bad.

Print up a bunch of shirts that say "It was good enough for G.W. so its good enough for me" and have a picture of George Washington holding a rifle on them. That should add to the impact.

As long as thats all thats 'hanging out'. Sux I gotta be on duty all weekend, all 3 days I mean. So no beer, firearms, fireworks, but on the plus side, I bet some kid in york city will blow hi hand off, and I'll get tp pick up the pieces.

I assume everyone I come in contact with is armed and I plan accordinly. "Be Polite, Be Professional, But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet"

IMO - if this is a real cop, he/she needs to find another profession.. Sounds like the Job has taken it's toll.

Correct me here if I am off base..

Not agreeing or disagreeing with your post nra-life-member, however, I've seen this thought in a book I read called Effective Handgun Defense. It states this is the mentality one should have in the case of self defense.

BTW, this book was written by Frank W. James.

I just might try it for the first time. I have a LTCF and have for years but open carry would be interesting.
