Help pick $2-300 AR 1x4 Scope
Hey there, I'm fairly new to 3gun, looking finish a dedicated 3gun AR. I'm looking at the following scopes, any insight would be greatly appreciated. If I'm missing one, feel free to suggest another. Trying to stay around 2-300 including a mount.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=AG7A5T7HKE7JV
or
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A1HRLXEP8TFG8B
or the primary arms 1-4 or 1-6
What about mounts? I'm leaning towards the burris pepr mount. I don't care about quick release, just want something reasonably priced that won't move. Any help is greatly appreciated.
My build is: - Anderson Lower - PSA lower kit - PSA upper - MI 12" SS Gen II - PSA BCG - Magpul fixed stock - PSA 16" chrome 1x9 twist - MI brake

Re: Help pick $2-300 AR 1x4 Scope
Vortex or PA will both stand behind their products if there is a problem. Don't know about Millet. Buy the P/A scope at P/A website and get their bundled mount. Can't beat that deal. I know the 1-6x is getting great reviews and rarely stays in stock for long. I am currently on the e-mail waiting list to pick one up.
Burris pepr mount is a beefy unit.

Re: Help pick $2-300 AR 1x4 Scope
I have a PA 1x-4x on my AR. When I ordered it I ordered the wrong mount and they called me to be sure that what I ordered was what I wanted. It wasn't and they made the correction to my order to give me the correct mount. I don't think that you can get better service than that. The only thing is if you get their scope covers they don't fit very well, too loose. If I was to order one again I would spend the extra and get the Butler Creek covers instead. Other than that issue I'm very happy with the scope.

Even if you don't go for the PA scope, their deluxe mount is pretty good. Will probably save you a bit over the PEPR

I don't think anyone makes a $2 scope. They probably range from $150 on up.

Pretty much what I had to say. If you can't go _350 for the rt6 I would go primary Arms 1x6 for sure. Aero mounts are great. Lightweight and mount well, just not quick release. I prefer them over the Burris mounts
Check camera land new York for the rt6. Call and talk to Doug he will probably hook you up with a discount and he knows his stuff

Re: Help pick $2-300 AR 1x4 Scope
I have a couple of the Nikon p-223 scopes, the 1-4 had been fine, the 3x9 had the rubber ring come out of the front lens and I can't find the receipt so I am kind of fucked for the warranty.
