I have the Millet DMS. I really like it. It might go a little over budget with the pepr mount, but that setup served me well. It currently rides on my Ruger American in x39. Still working great. The PA and Vortex are both solid options as well. I just don't have any personal experience with them. Both are good companies that stand behind their stuff though.

If you can find a Burris RT-6 in stock, I’d recommend that. A bit more power on the top end and extremely close to 1x on the bottom. The bullet drop reticle is spot on but illumination is not quite day light bright. Very happy with mine...

If you could bump up your budget to ~$500, the Steiner P4Xi is fo’ real....

In terms of a mount, I think the PEPR Mount is too heavy and bulky. Aero Precision mounts are around the same $$ and work well.

Pretty much what I had to say. If you can't go _350 for the rt6 I would go primary Arms 1x6 for sure. Aero mounts are great. Lightweight and mount well, just not quick release. I prefer them over the Burris mounts

Check camera land new York for the rt6. Call and talk to Doug he will probably hook you up with a discount and he knows his stuff

I have a couple of the Nikon p-223 scopes, the 1-4 had been fine, the 3x9 had the rubber ring come out of the front lens and I can't find the receipt so I am kind of fucked for the warranty.

Did you use a credit card? Use your statement and ask the store to cross reference for even more proof of the purchase.

I've really enjoyed the Bushnell pcl throwdown for the last 4 or 5 years as my 3 gun optic, also have a SWFA 1-4 and like it equally well. Can't go wrong with either.

I just received a Primary Arms illuminated 1-4 earlier this week. Wanted to try a variable scope without breaking the bank, as I have never experienced one up to this point. Opted to get their deluxe mount to get the discounted package deal.

I haven't shot it yet, but the scope left a very good initial impression, especially coming in at only $120. I wasn't too thrilled with the mount though. It seems sturdy enough, but its pretty heavy, and the machine work and finish on mine just didn't seem up to snuff. I already have an Aero lightweight mount on its way. I already have a couple of their mounts and like them a lot!

Late to post to this, but the Vortex PST 1-4 can be found for a little over $300. This is the Gen 1
