    Default Speaking of NJ........

Speaking of NJ, I would love to see NJ firearms owners have an "empty holster" protest. I wonder how the authorities would react. Would they pull out some sort of "Disorderly Conduct" charge or perhaps some sort of "Inciting" charge? It would be interesting.

90% of their legislature doesn't give a crap, plus 99% of their judges. Nothing internal will improve New Jersey unless millions of them start voting strictly on gun rights. Not sure who they would vote for, since you have two anti-gun candidates in almost every election. But that's what it would take from the inside.

When Governor Meatballs leaves office NJ gun laws will go from bad to much worse in a matter of weeks.

Several years ago when the NJCSD was active a member in the Salem area did wear and empty holster. He is a member here now I believe. He was charged with disorderly conduct, charge was dismissed as there is no law prohibiting carrying an empty holster.

An empty holster protest would fall on deaf ears. Our Governor is a Rino. Our legislature is Progressive Socialist.

I thought that in PRNJ, everything is considered illegal unless there's a law saying that it isn't.

No, like every other state, everything is legal, unless a law makes it illegal.
We do have an inordinate amount of laws prohibiting anything that is fun.
Wearing an empty holster is not specifically illegal in the Nazi state of New Jersey.

With respect to firearms, that is correct.

You had it right.....anything that's fun is illegal in NJ....including rubber band guns and slingshots.
There's no hope here......run by the state authority.....IMO.

    Actually, this is inaccurate.

In NJ firearm laws are written with exemptions. For example, it is illegal to transport a firearm, except to a range, gunsmith, etc. The law does not make it illegal to transport elsewhere, transport is illegal with exceptions. Most of the laws are that way, re: firearms in NJ.
It's all fun and games, until someone loses an eye. Then it is hilarious.

No room for challenges to any of those laws as being "broad and unspecific"?
