Like it without the extended finger mag

Recoil is felt but still accurate. Sights are nice SIG night sights.

    Does have thumb safety.

    Carry in the summer/warm months.

    Winter months carry mp9c.

Sometimes think about sw shield no safety

I have the p238 and love it for the bug gun that it is. I thought about p938 when shopping for a 9mm. But decided on the shield 9mm instead and glad I did. Shield is a bit bigger and heavier but still at only 19oz. But more meat in my hand. Also I have a shield with thumb saftey if I want to use it. I was also able to put a lasermax laser on my shield and just ordered an iwb holster to accommodate the laser. I bought my shield used in like new cond for $375. I am so glad I bought it. I love the trigger. Its not like my other 1911 pistols but to me a close second on the trigger.

Well, here's a thought it shoots pretty straight. But it's the devil to get the last round into the mag...

I have one and i like it. I see the prices came down on them a bit. My only complaint was that the grip screws wouldn't stay in place, but a little bit of locktite solved the issue.

My wife has 938 extreme I believe is the model. She loves it. Has 2 holsters from winthrop holsters one with 2 clips and one with 2 belt loops IWB. Very accurate, reliable, small and thin conceals easy.

Ive been looking at the 938 for a while and will probably buy one soon. Nice little gun. Now Id like to find one in all black (they come in a lot of different color configs), and for a decent price. Maybe next gunshow?

I have a 938 and had a 238. Sold the 238 to a nice lady that wanted a self-defense pistol. The 238 recoils like a 22- the 938 smacks a little more but I would say kicks less than my PPK and about the same as my CZ 82 9x18. Very concealable, very accurate, and very lightweight. I would highly recommend one for CC. The only things I don't like are the plastic trigger (Metal ones are available) and the single-action only (I'm weird, I know.).
