Most accurate hunting rifle
In your opinion what is the most accurate hunting rifle made today. Im not talking custom guns. I mean a rifle that you could see at your local gunstore. Caliber will make a difference but for arguements sake lets say they are all in 30.06.
Remington
Sako
Tikka
Savage
Weatherby
Mossberg
Ruger
And let the arguements begin14OO N. HERMITAGE RD, HERMITAGE,PA 724-962-1776......STOP BY AND SEE US SOME TIME

Also the Steyer SSG is off limits because i know very few gunstores who have them hanging up on the wall. Sorry Steyer fans.

Re: Most accurate hunting rifle
I would opt for the Remington 700 in 30-06, also.

Re: Most accurate hunting rifle
With a little free floating ....the Remmy 700 and the Savage. Stock fitting/cheap stocks seems to be the largest variable these days holding back some guns.
The Remmy has more aftermarket parts than most anyone else and more gunsmiths will be familiar with working on them later if you want improvements. Both can be had with 3lb triggers from the box and the turn of a scew.
I taught Chuck Norris to bump-fire.
