This Sunday AM (Nov. 9, 2014) the High-Power range will be holding a WWII-era "Three Gun" shoot from 9:00AM to Noon.

Course of fire is as follows:

  • 8 shots from the sitting position at steel plates placed at approximately 30' using a 12gauge pump-action shotgun. #8 or smaller shot only.
  • 20 shots @ steel plates placed at approximately 20' using a WWII-era military semi-automatic handgun (i.e. 1911/1911-A1). You will need four magazines, each loaded with five rounds. CAST BULLETS ONLY.
  • 8 shots from the offhand position at bowling pins hung from chains @ 100 Yards using any WWII-era military service rifle (e.g. M1 Garand, 1903, Mosin Nagant, SMLE, etc.).

The shotgun and handgun stages are timed. Each miss or procedural error adds 5 seconds to the shooter's score.

Shooters have 10 minutes to complete the rifle stage. Each hit with the rifle subtracts 5 seconds from the shotgun/pistol time. Lowest overall time wins.

Match fee is $8.00. This match is open to the public.
