Going as LEO for halloween?
I'm going to a friends house Saturday for a party and I bought a fake police costume and my gf is going as a slutty prisoner. Shocker that a girl is going as a slutty whatever..lol. I've been asked many times in regular clothes if I'm military or police and I'm not but is it a bad idea to dress as a cop and carry my glock unloaded in a retention holster? There will be alcohol but I don't drink. I will carry my spare mags loaded on my belt also.

Re: Going as LEO for halloween?
Yes, it's a bad idea.
It may not be illegal, depending on what else you do, and whether you have an LTCF. Dressing like a cop isn't illegal per se, but if you use that apparent authority to cause anyone to do anything, it becomes a crime.
Using a real gun as a prop is always a bad idea. Especially at a party.

Why unloaded? Afraid you'd shoot your friend's dog?

Re: Going as LEO for halloween?
Bad idea, unless you going as slutty cop in very short leather shorts and stuff. In which case lack of photo will be appreciated
Je suis déplorable

Re: Going as LEO for halloween?
I would never try to impersonate an officer and use it for somethig illegal. Its strictly for a costume. I'm very level headed and don't need any law troubles but because I'm second guessing the costume means I should be a clown instead but I already bought the police costume so I'm wearing it.
And yes I don't want to shoot any of her dogs..lol.
