IDPA: Liberty Match @ Valley Forge - 2104

This was the 4th annual Liberty Match at Lower Providence Rod & Gun. Great day, great weather, great stages and a great finish for me. I took 1st place in CDP Marksman and got a match bump to Sharpshooter.

There are some things I'd wish I'd done differently, but it still worked out.

For those that care I was 22 seconds faster than 2nd place MM and I was faster than all but 4 of the Sharpshooters. I was 14 out of 27 in all of CDP and 61 of 127 overall.

While that might not seem impressive, it was for me.

Nice shooting. Yea, it was a fun match. Damn classifier stage ate up a lot of shooters including me. Definitely need to practice one-handed shooting more.
My squad kicked butt. We had two first-place shooters and two second-place shooters.

As far as the match bump goes, are you sure you got one? I thought there had to be at least 10 shooters in the same class and division to get one. Either way, nice shooting.

If I'm not mistaken even if there aren't 10 in my classification it would depend on how many I beat in the division above me. All in all I beat more than 9 folks.

9.4.2. The winner of a class at a Sanctioned Match will be promoted to the next higher Classification if that
shooter beats nine shooters in that class or any higher class in that Division
