Alien gear, long wait

I called alien gear before I placed my order because I heard about the long wait times. They assured me I'd have my holster within 2 weeks.... So I placed my order on 9/23 (they confirmed the 2 week wait time when they emailed me)... Here we are a month later and they haven't even shipped it yet. Pretty bummed since I called to make sure I wouldn't have to wait really long and here we are. Anybody else in the same boat here? Thinking I should give them a call and see if they have any news for me.

I've bought 2 holsters from them and both times it was 3-4 weeks until it shipped. When I called to ask why it took so long when I bought the 2nd one they said its because they dont stock any finished holsters, they make the leather base and kydex shell for each order individually. Worth the wait in my opinion though their IWB Cloak Tuck is very comfortable.

My waiting time was just under the 4 week mark. Just give them time, they are probably very busy due to high demand. I can only make a guess that the person who said 2 weeks is either new or saying that just to get the sale. which is a despicable business practice when they do not follow through.

I would say give them a call and just check up on your order.

Also foxxholsters are another option if you're in more of a rush. IWB hybrid-style at a similar price point. I believe when I got one awhile back it was very quick - days, not weeks.

I ordered their cloak slide holster (OWB) and received it in about a week. Glad I didn't order the IWB

It took about 4 weeks for the new 2.0 IWB holster for a G23. It's worth the wait very nice and super comfortable. The new material they are using is better then the hard leather one. I am going to order 3 more holsters for the following. 1911, SW M&P 40SW, AND G21. IT'S WORTH THE WAIT REALLY.

A week ago I ordered the new 2.0 Cloak holster for a government sized 1911. The "operator/help person" on their website told me 4-6 weeks.
