Default Any news on the Beretta Pico?

The last time this question was asked on this forum was May. So, I'll do the autumn query. Anyone seen anything new on the Pico? When I do a Google search on Beretta Pico for sale, I get links that lead to Beretta Model 84s and 70s. So, are there actually any out there? Is this still ghostware (how appropriate for Halloween)? I looked at the last Oaks (granted it was a quick look) and got funny faces and no real answers.

I recall reading more than one article reviewing the Pico. But aside from those T&E units I have not heard of any for sale. My own interest in the gun was to see a .32 version, not the 380. I've since given up any thought of ever seeing one. Maybe the T&E phase brought out some R51-type problems that have to be fixed?

the instructor at a gun range "near" me (2 hours away, but the closest one) just posted a picture of one back on the 7th of this month....

this was the caption..... "Got to handle this new concealed carry offering from #berettausa today. #producttesting has its perks! This thing is thinner than my wallet, and I carry a very very thin wallet unlike some of you George Costanza types"

I bet it is squashed out like a flounder and indeed very thin. The one observation I can make about it is that the sights look quite good for a pocket .380. Those Italians make good guns and I expect the pico to be a great addition to their line.

Its true, nice to see a .380 finally coming out with real sights. But personally this just does not look like the refined Italian style I expect from Beretta. even the M9 has that Italian look and feel to it and that is a service pistol, but this just doesn't look to me like something from the same company
