Right....I knew I recalled seeing Gunlawyer referred to as Phil in different posts.

Now that I am no longer in Philadelphia, or PA for that matter, I decided to get a non-resident LTCF. Centre County issued them by mail back when that was possible, but now I think the place to go is Berks County at the Reading Regional Airport substation. Easy, free parking and the best service I have heard of: walked in with my completed form and my MN permit and walked out in less than 15 minutes with my PA LTCF.

In anticipation of renewing my PA LTCF that expires in a couple of months and having moved to Philly, I'd appreciate any info about how soon should I apply for its renewal since it can take up to 45 calendar days; and, second, what is the content of the interview? Thanks in advance... TB605

I've always planned two months, however Phila has stepped up their game and has been issuing in as little as 20 calendar. The interview is really verbally going over the same questions. There are a few more, like tattoos, outstanding parking tickets. Those get some people torqued. I view the tattoo one as part of criminal investigation.

If you don't have an attitude, they won't either. They can be friendly. I just did mine, and when leaving from the pick-up the women said "See you in five years."

Sparks, thank you so much for your reply. Very helpful. On another note, and just asking, any idea what does Philly do (or not) that requires 20 days as compared with 20' in other Counties?
