Default My North American Arms 22 mag

    Just picked it up

something I did not notice in the store is that this thing has a ton of play in the cylinder. (cylinder gap play) about 10 thousand using my calipers don't have filler gage handy

But it is a cute little bugger

Just checked my 1 5/8 model. Gap is very tight. Don't have gauges handy but it's tighter that many of my Smiths and Colts.

I have no detectable play in mine. Not even so much as a wiggle. Maybe you should contact NAA it?

Well looks like I got more problems with this.

just got back from shooting it today put 20 rounds threw it. went bang every time. But now when I was cleaning it I noticed that there is a pin missing under the grip number 6 on the exploded view in the manual (bolt pin)

I'm surprised that it is functioning like this
I also kept folding over some paper and slid it in the cylinder gap till it took out all the play then got a reading of the thickness of the paper 18 thousands of a inch

Somebody had to be half a sleep when thy put this together
    Going to call them

This diagram? If so, that explains a lot.

Default Misadventure in NAA 22 mag. Per the company.

I got a message from the company, in the purchase box, I think, which said that on one occasion the round next to the loaded round went off at the same time as the round the hammer fell on. They said that the problem was limited (so far) to a certain type of ammo, I think something like CSI (but I'm vague on that so if interested, better check it!) The ammo name had 3 letter in it.

I wonder if barrel play had a role in that misadventure.

    Thanks for your posts, folks!
