Preemption
Hope this is the right forum,if not , Mia Culpa. A short time ago I and the wife took a stroll on a local Rail to Trail. The R to T is adjacent to a Township recreational facility and park. The rec. facility parking lot is use by those accessing the trail. Upon exiting the the trail at this parking lot I noticed the sign which stated no firearms on the trail property. According to the Trail web site the R toT is private property. According to state law they are entitled to exclude firearms if they so desire. Question is, if any level of government is helping fund this Trail ,directly or indirectly, can the Trail legally ban firearms under Statue 6720 (Preemption) or any other statute, law, ord. ect.

Re: Preemption
Ok, have no knowledge of that one. There seems to be no known precedent related to gov. funding of private entity and preemption.
