sponsorship for Langhorne Rod and Gun Club

Hi everyone, I would like to join the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club. Does anyone know how to get the sponsorship?

Best I can say is attend events there that are open to the public, show them you're a responsible gun owner, & make friends with some members. Getting some random person to sponsor you is probably out of the question because the sponsoring member is held responsible for any & all actions done by the sponsored member for the first year of membership, no one I know is willing to risk getting booted out of the club because they sponsored someone they don't know

I believe at the October meeting of the members they said there are no longer openings. That can change in a month or two.

I went there on a meeting night, walked up to four guys talking on the parking lot before the meeting, introduced myself and outlined my resume', and one of them sponsored me.

Sorry, I have not been in long enough to sponsor anyone yet.

Openings change from month to month, but you can still get your name on a waiting list if you line up a sponsor.
BTW, that must be some impressive resume' to get strangers to sponsor you

been shooting there once or twice a month for over a year yet to get a sponsor but yet to try and press the issue a lot of great people there to shoot with

Smiggles, what events do you shoot. I usually shoot every action pistol for the last few years and every practical rifle for the last year and the picture from your profile doesn't look familiar.....
