Default Where can I buy a belt suitable for a holster?

Can anyone tell me where they've found a belt good for use with a holster.

The key thing is that I need to get one from a retail store so I won't be able to get an actual gun belt online. I am in the two week trial period of my crossbreed holster and it's not working out but I thought I'd give it one last try with a more substantial belt.

    Thanks folks.

Crossbreed makes a quality belt and they offer a package with the belt and holster. Right now I am wearing a 5.11 belt I bought at Atlantic Tactical, in Camp Hill. There is an Atlantic Tactical in Philly but I don't know the exact location.

Your going to be limited if your looking to buy in a local store. There is an excellent saddle shop in Lancaster right outside Kettle Village I think its in intercourse run by the Amish. If you have to buy a standard leather belt then they are some of the best there are. Anything you buy in a retail store is going to fall apart unless you are looking at the black hawk, 5.11 tactical holsters most of which also fall into the useless category unless you start spending the bigger bucks on the better ones.

If you every decided to order a leather gun belt on like seriously consider this guy's. They have lasted many people that I personally know 10+ years. Your holster is as only good as your belt since it's the foundation for everything cheap out on the belt and don't expect to have any holster work for you.

I have this belt in Brown, have wore it almost everyday while carrying, and even when I am not carrying (at work, jeans, etc)for the past 2 years or so.

By the way its holding up, unless I gain an ungodly amount of weight, I expect to be wearing it 20+ years from now.

I bought a thick leather wrangler brand belt from Walmart for 12 bucks. Works great for my galco king tuk (a copy of your supertuk)

The belt I had worked with a crossbreed supertuck I got for my sp 101. But now I'm trying out their quick clip for my 9mm pistol and my belt isn't cutting it.

That's why I'm trying to find something better from a standard retailer.

Thanks for the advice on the specialty gun belts.

Not sure where you would find one locally, but i bought a Hellweg Dress gun belt and it is absolutely incredible what a difference it makes. I got mine at Brownells but i bet if you have a police supply store close you would be able to get your hands on one.
