    Default traveling through phillie arptHi,

    Hi,
New to the forum. My friend and I both Florida ccw holders and Fl residents are flying into Philadelphia renting a car and driving to Hershey for the car show. From what I read about reciprocity we should be ok but I am concerned about any hassles from the city.

    1. Welcome to PA when you actually get here.

    2. You shouldn't have any hassles from Philty as long as you don't get stopped. If you do get stopped, who knows, that's a crap shoot as to how you'll be treated.

    3. Why not fly into HIA instead of PHL? You'd be a lot closer to Hershey and you wouldn't be forced to pay turnpike tolls and drive 1.5 hours each way.

I'm not sure why, but I read your post title as phillie armpit. Enjoy your trip.

Op do yourself a Favor, and don't do anything to get pulled over in the 3rd world city that is Filthadelphia! Ever heard the saying came on vacation left on Probation? Avoid the city like the Plague.

Pennsylvania has a reciprocal agreement with Florida to honor your Florida resident ccw. Philadelphia however, likes to make it's own rules and thus the advice to avoid Filthy. I would cc in Filthy to avoid interaction with PPD. Have a safe trip.

I am former LE plus I really can't avoid Phillie because I work for an airline that, only goes to PHL and PIT so tolls and gas are a small price. I was just wondering because here in Fl permit or not it is allowed in your car loaded and in the glovebox (without CCW) and no municipalities are allowed to set any restrictions above what the state law is. For instance it is perfectly legal to set up a range in your yard even in the city as long as the projectile doesn't leave your property

When you leave the airport, go south, away from the city and take I-476 to the Turnpike. You shouldn't have a problem.
Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!
