    It's coming along nicely.

I need to run out and get something to finish before I sand and paint it. But it's functional and held together with no nails or screws, everything was done with biscuits.

No more. I order ordered one of these:

I hope it is worth it.
Any update on this unit? Does it need to sit out on a counter? I'm out of counter space in my kitchen unless I remodel which is definitely in the cards. In other words, how big of a hassle would it be to put it away and take it out when needed?

Looks interesting and doesn't take up counter space!

It won't when it's hung on the wall.

    Almost ready for paint:

I added 1"x1/8" aluminum strips with spacers between that creates a guide channel for the bags. The roll in the back will go through the bottom, the roll in the front will go through the top.

1" Dowels with 1/4" holes through them and 1/4" dowels inserted to hold them in place. One side has the dowels glued. The other they're just there by friction and can be pushed out.

Interesting design. Is it going to have a top? Or will it be open topped?

The front is open, I did add a strip of 1/4" plywood cut on a bevel to the top.
