Default PSA selling threaded Glock barrels now??

I've been a big fan of PSA's mix of lowish cost and quality over the years and, besides their slow-as-f!ck shipping (which is getting better), they have performed well for my needs. It seems like they are dipping in almost anything now. An AK-47 may be in the works (per ARF.com), an AR-10 is available, and they have developed a 1911.

The newest item on the list are threaded Glock 17 and 19 barrels in either stainless or nitrocarburized. There are hints another company actually manufactures these and PSA mushroom stamps their name on it, but does anyone know who makes them?

I've been looking for a threaded barrel for my G19 and ordered one to try out, so I'll report back shortly when it arrives….

    *In for reviews*

I'm debating buying my first can in a month and a half. Having another choice for a threaded barrel is a plus for sure.

Probably made overseas like the Lone Wolf barrels or maybe they are from Lone Wolf. I always just ponyed up the money for a quality barrel from Glock or KKM. Spending an extra $50 or so is a drop in the bucket compared to ammo, suppressors and etc.

I ordered a threaded, melonited, G19 barrel on 9/24/14 and received today, 9/30/14. Seems much better than the "normal" slow-as-shit PSA shipping, so things may be improving in that regard. Barrel has an even finish, no scratches or dings, has the PSA logo and "19" and "9MM" on the barrel hood.

The thread protector is metal and fits snugly. My threaded Lone Wolf barrel will spill the thread protector in only a few rounds and normally stays in the safe protecting the $17 it stole from my wallet…..

Here is a pic of a well used Lone Wolf threaded G17 barrel (top), the stock G19 barrel (middle), and the PSA G19 barrel (bottom) followed by a pic of the locking lugs for the stock G19 (top) and PSA (bottom).

No problems loading dummy rounds or any other perceived problem with the PSA barrel in my G19. Cycles smoothly by hand and locks up tight. I may get a chance to shoot it later in the week to give a accuracy/function test…..

So far, I'm happy for my $110 bucks and the pudding proof will be shooting it…..

Finally got a chance to get to the range with 150 rounds of ammo (PPU, Herter's Brass, WWB) to test this thing out. Happy to say it ran 100% and was as accurate as my stock G19 barrel in my hands. Not too bad for the price….
