XDS Recall Update: Turn Around Time

Greetings all. I thought i would start this thread in case anyone is still holding on to an XDS that was subject to the recall last year. I bought one from a buddy that was under the recall, and he had not sent it back yet.

I got the shipping label immediately from Springfield's website, sent it out last Wednesday. Arrived at Springfield on Friday, and they only had it over the weekend. Sent me and email that it would be shipping out Monday. I received it Fedex signature required yesterday, and they gave me an extra 7rd mag. total Turn around time: 1 week.

ETA: it might be covered in another thread but if you are not sure if the pistol was repaired or not, all you have to do is look at the backstrap safety. If there is a roll pin in it, you are good to go. No roll pin, it still needs repair.

I sent mine back the end of July and turnaround was a week also. I purposely waited for the times to shorten.
