Default Philadelphia Mayor's response to Heller decision

    http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/news...un_ruling.html

Which are the 3 new laws they are going to start enforcing? 1 gun per 30 days, subjects of PFA not being allowed to purchase (isn't that already a law anyhow?), and I guess the AWB?

I guess I don't follow how he feels that the Heller decision makes his laws legal _now_ as opposed to a few weeks ago.

He is using Newspeak. Yes is no, no is yes, and anything means whatever he wants it to mean.

"As much as we are concerned about an individual's right to own their own weapon, we are more concerned with cracking down on activity that is actually illegal.
If that were really true, we'd enforce the laws already on the books which address this issue, instead of passing more laws which criminals will, by definition, ignore.

The mayor also said the city would soon begin enforcing its new three gun laws. City lawyers are currently creating guidelines for how those laws should be enacted.
How can he start enforcing the laws next month? I understand that 3 of the laws were upheld on procedural grounds, but that ruling is being appealed. Isn't the injunction that was initially granted on these laws in force until ALL proceedings are complete, appeals included?

Is Nutter planning to enforce PA.Const.Art.I,Sec.21 or the 2A? Does he mean he's going to start cracking down on official oppression?

Mayor Nutter is a criminal. Like all criminals, he cares nothing for the law, or for anything the courts have to say. He's in a position where he is being allowed to violate the law, and even attack it, with impunity.

He's made clear that he intends to ignore law and the courts. If the law will not stop him, I reckon we can pray for a meteorite or something.

Actually, we'd best start praying now. The law never stopped John Street either. But Street was penny ante compared to this guy.

All I can say is the man is living up to his name. Can we trade him to Jersey for a case of ammo they confiscated from the law abiding??

When will this dip shit realize that the guns being used for crimes are not being legally purchased?

Stop blaming the guns you piece of ghetto scum and start blaming the PERSON committing the crime. Lock the stupid bastard up and use the damn death penalty!
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.
