Default help on new carry gun

need some advice on new gun/holster-
I currently carry a kimber and love it however I have been thinking of a revolver. I work in a kitchen about 11-12 hrs a day and often wear draw string pants and I have had no luck in any comfortable form of carry. I used to own an lc9 and really did not like it. I do have a super tuck for the 1911 but it still seems to get weighed down after some hours
any advice on a new gun/comfortable holster for my situation? all help is appreciated
    thanks

    Honestly?
I'd be thinking ankle holster and a alloy frame revolver or small .380.
I don't really like ankle holsters, but I'd like it better than having something pulling down my drawstring pants all day or having to cinch them so tight they cut off circulation.

There are some ankle holsters with straps that go around your calf, might be a bit better.

I can say this is one carry situation I really have zero experience with.

When I said alloy, I meant something like the S&W Scandium series or something like that.

I don't think I'd ever buy a polymer revolver when there are metal ones in the same weight range (albeit in a much higher price range).

As far as ankle holsters go, I used to carry a Colt Pony .380 auto in a Galco Ankle Glove, and it was super-comfy for all day wear.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

LCR is a great little revolver. Of course its a DAO trigger so you're going to be in the 12 pound pull range, but you'll have that with any revolver. The trigger is smooth and has a good break though. The Hogue grips are very nice and make it pretty shootable.

If you're set on a revolver - I say definitely go for the LCR and load up with some Gold Dot 135gr +P short barrel ammo. If you're also thinking small auto, the LC9s is out now and I'm sure you'd have better experiences with this model. The Kahr CM9 is also very nice. LCR will be lighter than all of them by a few ounces though.

Belly band or ankle holster would be your best options for carry. As far as a revolver goes I am not an owner of one and can't truly help you there. I'd go for a light weight model yet something durable that will last.

As a bartender I go colt cobra (aluminum framed 6 shot revolver) in a pocket holster. With draw string pants it may be a little noticeable but an apron helps a lot.
I've thought of trading it in for a glock 42 but I think I'll wait until the glock comes in 9mm.
Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.
