I have noticed that.
The other night I was watching a boxing show and there was a good looking female co-host.She spoke rather fast and with such a heavy British accent that it was difficult to keep up with what she was saying.I figured she must be some big shot's girlfriend.

I spent a year in Scotland and you have to acquire an ear to understand, or just nod your head and smile a lot. My sister talks too freakin fast and she just moved down to NC. Ill bet the locals are going to smile and nod there heads a lot too.
