Default Renewed my LTCF Montg. Co.

I went to renew my LTCF today, 5 yrs. goes by pretty quick. At the courthouse everyone was friendly and the officers at the sheriffs dept. couldn't have been nicer. I was out in approx. 20 min with my new license. I was wearing a pro 2nd amendment shirt and even got complimented on it. This is how the process should be. The only neg. was I parked across from the courthouse and didn't put enough in the meter and got a 28.00 fine. My own dumbass fault...

The last time I had to renew my LTCF in Montco, I lucked out because I also had been called for Jury Duty, They let you, at that time, park in the garage under the courthouse if you had Jury duty. So free parking, no trial, and 20 minutes during lunch to get the renewed LTCF.

I remember from other posts that MONTCO wanted people to visit their local PD with some kind of background check card/form. Did they stop this? Or do they handle renewals differently?

New LTCF requires a local PD check but for a renewal just fill out the form, get a new picture taken and hand them $20.00.........You need to take your old LTCF and your drivers license.

NO! NO! NO! The process should be that the Sheriff follows the laws. Montco does not issue to non-residents, this is not how the process should be.

How is Philly about non-resident licenses? Or need I even ask?
I don't think much will happen even with a lawsuit. It is written in the law that first class cities,Philly, can make there own laws.AFAIK. So what is the lawsuit?

AFAIK no, If you don't have the card , The sheriff takes the max time to approved your permit, but he approves it. Renewals are easier

I actually did read it and commented but if it was July, I was most likely drunk (birthday celebrations). I just did not remember. That,s what I get for drunk foruming. Never a good idea.
