Re: Cerakote in Central PA
They look good FLIK
does the coating make the grip a little slicker??
I'd think it would fill in the stippling a little bit??God Bless America and pass the ammunition!

Cerakote does not affect stippling.

Re: Cerakote in Central PA
Ill tell you were not to go.... brodz coatings in shillington. Dropped off a remington 700 and a xdm at his "shop" he didn't blast the parts didnt even spray the whole thing ground away at the rear of the action with a sander and put a huge chip in the hs precision stock. And he did just as bad of a job on my xdm and damaged the front sight. I was mortified! He offered no refunds and didn't even offor to fix it. Now its at trops for rescue

Re: Cerakote in Central PA
I had my parts done at Raystown Guns and Outdoors in Huntingdon. I was going to be in the area so I checked them out and impulsively left my parts with them. Nothing against Xringshooter, I spoke with him via PM and he seems like a great guy.
Anyhow, the parts turned out very nice. I'm pleased with the job they did. I got a chance to put the pistol together the other day. The receivers rail and tube are Magpul Foliage Green and the small parts are Armor Black.
