I think your title is a little misleading. From your title I thought the man was pulling out his ccw permit after surrendering to the police (who else would you surrender to while pulling out your permit). Not a handgun. I guess 'CC firearm' would be better. IMHO

I also remember seeing this video elsewhere. I don't remember if it was here or not, but I am pretty sure it was here.

Wait I'm completely confused now. I thought they said that once someone surrenders they automatically are out of the battle forever. What gives? Is there some voodoo here that somehow allows someone to keep attacking after they've called timeout? Is *on base* the tree in the yard or your dad's car? I'm not sure I can even go to work today now. Help?

Also, since there is video of the one man surrendering, if someone would have shot him while he was pulling out his firearm, but before the firearm actually was drawn completely, would a riot have broken out? And, since there were shots fired, I'm not sure why no one there was wearing any Klan costumes? No Nazi armbands either? I thought whenever a black guy was killed it was by racists? Seriously. I'm calling off work now, my brain is so twisted.

I agree. I don't if I would have taken it myself.. but, who knows what kind of training this guy has. If he's comfortable with it under stress, good for him. It worked

Isn't this the same video from Brazil where it was an off duty cop that did the shooting?

    ETA: Yup...

Man Pretends to surrender then pulls Concealed Carry Weapon. Not sure how that's a misleading title.

That's some sweet justice porn right there. Risky shot or not, the dude did work when work needed to be done.

I said a little misleading not misleading there is a difference. This is not black and white. Like I said when you see CCW it normally is in reference to the permit. If I write WTF you normally think 'what the fuck' not World Taekwondo Federation or any of the 89 other meanings of WTF. Here in PA the permit is normally called a LTCF. In FLA it is known as a CCW. That was my point.
