What would be really nice is if they were interested in truly helping those with a problem, whether it's long or short term, instead of further pushing their anti-gun agenda. How about that for a fucking compromise.
I would also like to add that there are those who say that not allowing a convicted felon to vote is a civil rights violation, but would gladly take a persons right to own a gun with zero due process. Yet those felons have already had their due process.
